Florida Eats · checked by hand, fall 2026
Florida oyster bars & raw bars
68 oyster bars, raw bars and seafood houses across Florida where oysters are the main event, raw on the half shell, steamed or baked, each checked in fall 2026 against a 2025–26 source.
Oysters, Florida style
Florida's oyster bars run from Panhandle shacks with a shucking counter to raw bars on the Atlantic and the Keys. Oysters come raw on the half shell with saltines and cocktail sauce, steamed by the bucket, or baked with toppings. Where the oysters come from changes with the season and the harvest, so ask; we name a source only when the place itself does.
The list at a glance
Towns with the most: Pensacola (4), Key West (4), St. Augustine (4), Apalachicola (4), Sarasota (3), Bradenton (3), Panama City Beach (3), Miami (3). The dishes we found most often: oysters (24), raw oysters (23), seafood (7), grouper (7), shrimp (6), oysters on the half shell (5).
Our method: a place made the list only if a 2025 or 2026 source backed it up (its own site or menu, a dated local news story or an official tourism listing) and its street address matched. No current source, or a website gone dark, and it stayed off. Review sites played no part, and places run by region and town rather than by anybody's score. Menus change, so call ahead.
On your phone, Florida Eats orders this list by how far each place is from you, and a tap opens Apple Maps' live card with hours, photos and directions.
