Lahaina restaurants open again
Places a 2025–26 source shows open again in Lahaina after the Aug 8, 2023 fire: 5 restaurants, each read against its own site or a recent local news story in October 2026.
Lahaina after the fire
The Aug 8, 2023 wildfire destroyed most of Lahaina. Map listings there can't tell a place that reopened from one that burned, so Hawaiʻi Eats lists a Lahaina place only when a 2025 or 2026 source shows it open again. These are the ones we found; more have reopened than this list knows.
Where they are: five on Maui.
By town: Lahaina (5).
Dishes these menus name most: aliʻi plate (kalua pork, lau lau, lomi salmon, poi) (1), aloha mixed plate (shoyu chicken, teriyaki ribeye, fish) (1), birria ramen (1), crab mac and cheese (1), crispy poke doughnut (1), fried rice loco moco (1).
How this list was made: for every place we read a 2025 or 2026 source, usually its own menu page or a dated story in Hawaii news, and matched the street address to it. A place whose only source was older, whose website had gone dark, or whose menu named the dish just in passing stayed off. Review sites played no part, and the places run by region and town, not by anybody's score. Menus change, so check before you go. Our sources are on the about Hawaiʻi Eats page.
On an iPhone or iPad, Hawaiʻi Eats puts this same list in order of distance from wherever you're standing, and a tap on a place brings up Apple Maps' card with today's hours, photos and directions.

Lahaina questions
Why are so few Lahaina places listed?
Because a place is listed only when a 2025 or 2026 source shows it open again since the 2023 fire. The list grows as places are checked. A place is in only when a 2025 or 2026 source shows it serving this at this address. Tell us at nick@eatsranked.com.
Are Kāʻanapali and Nāpili listed?
Yes. They share Lahaina's mailing address but weren't in the burned town, and their places are listed under their own names.
