Honors, not ratings

A place is on this page for one reason: a MICHELIN distinction, or a James Beard Foundation award, nomination or America's Classic, checked against the organizations' own announcements. Honored restaurants that have since closed are dropped. Readers' polls, "best of" lists and review-site stars don't count here.

MICHELIN's Colorado guide covered Denver, Boulder and the resort towns from 2023 and expanded statewide in 2026. The Green Star was retired worldwide in June 2026, so none is shown.
