What counts as an honor here

One source, reported as facts rather than scores: the James Beard Foundation's Restaurant and Chef Awards for 2025 and 2026 (semifinalists, finalists and winners, each labeled as exactly that) and its America's Classics awards from any year. Where an honor went to a chef, the line under the place names the chef. Reader polls, "best of" roundups and review-site stars don't count, and there's no MICHELIN Guide for Michigan.
